The woman was scolding her children in the morning when her mother-in-law intervened
January 7, 2024: A woman in Uttar Pradesh’s Fatehpur ended life after poisoning her children. The woman took the step after having a fight with her mother-in-law on Sunday. The incident happened in Gangchauli village.
As per reports, the woman identified as Sarla Devi was scolding her children in the morning when her mother-in-law intervened. This led to an argument between Sarla and her mother-in-law Pachina Devi following which the woman poisoned her children and hanged herself inside the house.
Though the deceased’s husband took the children to a hospital, the son lost his life while undergoing treatment and their daughter’s health condition remains critical.
