Tension erupted in Assam’s Goalpara district on Monday after a body of a woman found near the national highway
June 12, 2023: Tension erupted in Assam’s Goalpara district on Monday after a body of a woman found near the national highway at Salpara in Krishnai.
Reportedly, the deceased identified as Junali Nath was a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader. She was a resident of Matia.
According to police officials, Junali is suspected to be allegedly raped and murdered by some miscreants. Some of the injured marks were seen on her body parts.
Locals informed that the deceased was last seen at the market on Sunday.
