In a recent development, one person identified as Hasinur Islam has been detained by Assam Police in connection with the women BJP leader murder case
June 12, 2023: In a recent development, one person identified as Hasinur Islam has been detained by Assam Police in connection with the women BJP leader murder case in Goalpara, Assam on Monday.
Reportedly, tension erupted immediately in Goalpara district after a body of a woman found near the national highway at Salpara in Krishnai in the wee hours Monday morning.
The deceased named Junali Nath was a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader. She was a resident of Matia.
According to police officials, Junali was allegedly murdered by some miscreants. Some of the injured marks were also seen on her body parts.
